Welcome to my Career Overhaul Mod. The third such mod I have done for Fifa games, having done them for Fifa 22 and Fifa 23.
The main files of this mod are SQUAD files. The first three files listed below do not need Fifa Mod Manager, the other one does use Fifa Mod Manager.
Extract the zip folder to a location on your PC. Extract files to Your PC/Documents/EAFC24/Settings, this folder likely won’t appear until you start the game, start a career and save it.
Open EAFC 24, go to customise, profile, Load Squads, select the squad file and load. Go to start new career and make sure to select ‘Current Customise’ when prompted which squads to use otherwise the game will download the latest squads and erase the data on the file.
Custom Icon Overhaul Installation – the folder includes a mod file that DOES NEED FIFA MOD MANAGER and a squad file that must be installed using the method mentioned above. Make sure you have -FifaModData added to the game’s properties.
The mod is split into several files in the same way my Fifa 23 mod was done:
Men’s Teams Overhaul – This file edits a large number of existing players, their ages and attributes (where necessary) have been edited. It also brings in male Heroes and Icons from FUT into career mode but only those that were playing after the Year 2000. These Icon/Heroes are fully edited to integrate better into the game, meaning their overall ratings might be lower than expected but their potentials are still very high. This file also moves some older players back to clubs where they spent most of their careers.
Old Icons Overhaul – This file is the exactly the same as above but introduces those Icon and Hero players that retired before the Year 2000.
Women’s Teams Overhaul – This file brings in all five women’s leagues into career mode. The vast majority of players are edited and also includes the female Icon and Heroes. The main focus of this mod are the women’s teams therefore, the men’s equivalent teams have been moved to the Rest of World league so their players are still purchasable.
Custom Icon Overhaul – This file is different from the others and will require Fifa Mod Manager. This file uses head assets taken from old Fifa games for retired players, and ex-Icon players and bring them back into EAFC24. So far, about 100 players head assets have been taken and added to the file, these include: Sergio Aguero, Gareth Bale, Filippo Inzaghi, Maradona, Deco and many more. In addition, this file will add a whole host of created players without the head assets as well. This file is entirely separate to the other three and I repeat, is the only one that needs Fifa Mod Manager.
