FIFA Infinity Patch 14 v.7.11 [23/24 Season]

FIP 14 returns for the 23/24 season.

Harry BullZak and the FIFA Infinity Team have returned with arguably the best FIFA 14 mod ever made, FIFA Infinity Patch 14! The patch brings FIFA 14 up-to-date with the current 2023/24 season including new leagues, clubs, tournaments, players, and many other unique features.

It is strongly recommended that you use a clean install of FIFA 14 for this patch. This includes if you have previous versions of FIP 14 installed as v7 has been rebuilt from scratch for the 23/24 season. If you wish to customize available career mode tournaments using FIP Tournament Manager, you must do so before starting a new career!

KNOWN ISSUES

V7.00 specific issues:
FC24 PC body models were changed. As a result, the converted boots may have some animation issues. This will hopefully be resolved in a later release.

Other issues:
Some custom tournaments will crash with the default patch compdata. If you want to play with custom tournaments, deleting cups until the compobj size is less than 1700 should resolve the issue. The tournament mode compdata set with only cup finals could be used.

When editing externally, you will notice some players with the word junior or variations in the common name string have the first word repeated, for example, “Neymar Neymar Jr”. This is to fix an EA bug that omits the first name of the string so it displays as “Neymar Jr” in-game as opposed to “Jr” without the fix.

UEFA Club competitions
When starting a new career, the “European Competition in 1st Season?” option must be left unselected. In the first season, and all subsequent seasons UEFA club competitions will start from the earlier qualifying rounds. This means that the groups are very unlikely to have the same teams at the group stage as in real life. This change was necessary to allow the UEFA Europa League to restructure and to allow the UEFA Europa Conference League to be added.

FIP Version Manager
Use it to select the version of the patch you wish to play.

You can make backups of your current version, including customization.

Backup will include main DB, language DBs, and compdata (tournament structure) files.

FIP Tournament Manager
You can customize what tournaments are available in career mode, there are additional options compared to the default career mode compdata.

There are also tournament mode compdata options that allow you to play international and club continental tournaments in tournament mode. If you install a tournament mode-only compdata set, the career mode will be locked in-game to avoid crashing.

FIP Boot Manager
Use to assign boots to players. These assignments are saved to lua files and take precedence over DB assignments.

To add additional boots to FIP Boot Manager, edit FIFA 14\Game\fip\boots\bootlist.txt and add a preview image in FIFA 14\Game\fip\boots\preview\, PNG format. As usual, put the boot model and texture files in FIFA 14\Game\data\sceneassets\shoe\

FIP GK Glove Manager
Use to assign GK gloves to goalkeepers. These assignments are saved to lua files and take precedence over DB assignments.

NOTES

Due to the large number of players in the patch, the playernames table is filled and excess entries are in the dcplayernames table in some versions. This means if you add new players or edit player names, the names may be missing in-game. This can be resolved by copying all entries from the playernames table with IDs of 29000 and higher to the dcplayernames table. CM14/15 does not modify the dcplayernames table.

If you use Creation Master 14/15 and save, you will introduce some minor bugs in the compdata. In some versions, Career mode will become unstable and crash. You can restore the original compdata by selecting and applying the ‘Default’ Career mode option in FIP14 Tournament Manager.

The patch does not include any gameplay modifications by default. Additional mods can be found here: FIFA 14\Game\fip\_mods\

This patch includes a modified version of Revolution Mod 14. Do not install Revolution Mod 14 v1.4 with this patch as the included version is a more recent build.

INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: Although a clean install is recommended. FIP14 mods can be installed over the top of any existing mod. It will update many graphics in the FIFA 14 directory. If you want to keep previous faces, kits, and other graphics you must back them up before installing.

Clean Install Instructions:
– Close the EA app background processes
– Rename “FIFA 14” folder
– Open EA app
– Select FIFA 14 and download
– To switch between installs, exit EA app, and rename folders. A folder named “FIFA 14” will be active.

Manual Install:
– Please follow specific instructions for each update found here: FIFA 14\INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS.txt”. This file is not always required.
– Regenerate bh files.

Preparing for Career Mode
– Choose the preferred version from the FIP Version Manager
– (Optional) Make customizations with Creation Master 14.
– (Optional) Customize cup selections using FIP Tournament Manager and apply.
– Start your new career. Choose to play with default squads and do not select UEFA CL/EL groups via “European Competition in 1st Season?”

FAQ

Q. I made changes to transfers and players in-game but after the update, the game now crashes?
A. You must use the existing DB you used when you made the changes. Loading a new DB using FIP Version Manager after making these changes will cause problems in-game.

Q. Why is my game crashing after making changes in Creation Master 14/15?
A. Everything outside of adding/deleting leagues, teams and adjusting the tournament files is fine with CM 14/15. All you have to do is save as usual, then load and install the default compdata using FIP Tournament Manager.

Q. I added a new league in CM 14/15 and now the game is crashing.
A. If you make changes that alter the structure of the game it is your responsibility to fix. I can only offer limited support to user edits.
